Well, the Honda is running very well. The replacement engine is a 1600cc (the original being a 1500cc model) four cylinder SOHC with 16 valves. This is the new warp drive in my little commuter car. Aside from the expense, this has turned out to be a good item and I still get between 32 and 35 miles per gallon (13.6 to 14.9 km/liter).
On the van, my brother-in-law, Greg, found the leaky freeze plug on the block under the starter assembly. He generously repaired this for me and we are waiting for time to test the vehicle. I may try to sell the vehicle on craigslist (at pennies on the dollar of course, grrrr).
We also just had to replace the tie rod ends for the front end of the Ford along with a new brake job--more C notes laid out!
I thank God that although I am always broke and I am not "getting ahead", the bills are getting paid.
