The Sublime & Beautiful vs. Reality

This blog is a record of one man's struggle to search for scientific, philosophical, and religious truth in the face of the limitations imposed on him by economics, psychology, and social conditioning; it is the philosophical outworking of everyday life in contrast to ideals and how it could have been.

-
The chief aim of all investigations of the external world should be to discover the rational order and harmony which has been imposed on it by God
and which He revealed to us in the language of mathematics.
--Johannes Kepler

I think you write very well, and you should not let life pass you by in preparation to achieve your vision. So I made a haiku for you.

ink
seeking to be free
cares not

and this little lymric:

mow the yard fix the lights,
stay up and work most nights.
running here, crawling there,
bugs and bees in your hair.
no smoke no drink,
do those dishes in the sink.
ideas come and then drift away,
pen is lonely day after day.
life grows dim then dark,
no more grass in the park.
weary and spent,
with every moment lent...

good luck my brother

Stu,
You are so very kind. Someday the lent of life will be over.
